How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Black bra for a large bust in bamboo

A bra for a large bust has to solve two things at once: give enough support, and do it without an underwire that presses. Boody has made this one with wider straps, a reinforced underband and a soft bamboo fabric that does not cut in. Black, in sizes S to XXL.

How it fits

The straps are wide, so the weight is spread across the shoulder instead of cutting a groove. The band under the bust is wider than on an ordinary soft bra, and that is what gives the support without an underwire. There are no seams that show through clothing.

The material

62% bamboo viscose, 30% nylon and 8% elastane. Nylon and elastane are there to give the necessary support and shape, while the bamboo viscose makes sure it still feels soft against the skin all day. More about the material in our facts about bamboo.

Certification and washing

OEKO-TEX Standard 100, certificate no. SHGO 054147. Wash at 40 degrees in a laundry bag and let it air dry, then the elastic keeps its shape the longest. See the washing and care guide.
