WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Why Tai

Tai has high leg openings at the sides, but full coverage at the back and front, unlike a G-string. Black, white and nude cover the three situations where the colour under your clothes matters: dark clothing, white clothing, and anything light where both black and white would show.

Glued seams

The seams are bonded instead of sewn, meaning joined together with heat and glue. There is therefore no thread that can be felt and no seam that can show through tight-fitting trousers.

70 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 70% bamboo viscose, 25% organic cotton and 5% elastane. The bamboo viscose is the soft and breathable part, the organic cotton provides firmness. See facts about bamboo. OEKO-TEX Standard certified.

Washing

Wash the three colours separately for the first few times, at 40 degrees and without fabric softener, and let them air dry so the bonded seams hold. See washing and care guide.
