How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

3-pack black bamboo tai briefs from Urban Quest. Soft fit with good comfort and breathable quality, perfect for everyday wear.

Tai is the shape with high leg cuts and full coverage at the back. It sits between the hipster and the maxi briefs: more coverage than one, less fabric on the hip than the other, and it gives the most freedom of movement of the three.

70 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 70 % bamboo viscose, 25 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane. The bamboo viscose is the soft and breathable part, and the organic cotton gives the briefs firmness so they keep their shape after many washes. We go through the material in our facts about bamboo.

Washing

40 degrees with your dark clothes, without fabric softener, so the black colour lasts longest. See our washing and care guide.

Certified
