How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Two ribbed tank tops, one black and one white

Pack of 2 ribbed bamboo tank tops in black and white from Urban Quest. Soft fit, breathable quality, perfect under clothes or to sleep in.

One black and one white in the same pack cover the two colours you use most. Rib is a knit with vertical ridges that gives sideways and pulls back together, so the top sits close without being tight. Wide straps cover the bra strap.

Three ways to wear it

Under a shirt, on its own with a pair of jeans, and as something to sleep in. It is not three different tops, it is the same one, and that is why ribbed basics end up being the most worn items in the drawer.

70 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 70% bamboo viscose, 25% organic cotton and 5% elastane. The bamboo viscose provides the softness and the breathability, the organic cotton makes sure the rib keeps its stretch. We go through the material in our facts about bamboo.

Wash them on their own

The white one and the black one should not go in together, at least not the first few times. Wash each with its own colour group at 40 degrees and leave out the fabric softener. See our washing and care guide. The tops are OEKO-TEX Standard certified.
