How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

3-pack white bamboo maxi briefs with a high fit from Urban Quest. Soft and breathable material, good coverage and comfortable everyday wear.

Maxi means a high waist and good coverage at the back. It is the shape you choose when the briefs need to stay in place all day without needing adjusting, and when you do not want elastic that cuts into the hip.

70 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 70% bamboo viscose, 25% organic cotton and 5% elastane. The bamboo viscose is the soft and breathable part, the organic cotton gives the briefs firmness so they hold their shape and do not turn see-through in white. We go through the material in our facts about bamboo.

Wash white underwear separately

White briefs turn greyish beige from being washed with coloured laundry, and it happens gradually so you do not notice it. Wash them with the rest of your whites at 40 degrees and skip the fabric softener. See our washing and care guide. The briefs are OEKO-TEX Standard certified.
