WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Three colours in one pack cover every situation: black under dark clothes, white under white and nude under everything light where both black and white show through. It is the most practical way to buy thongs.

Glued seams

The seams are bonded rather than sewn, that is joined with heat and adhesive. There is therefore no thread you can feel and no stitching that can show through close fitting trousers. On a G-string, which is already chosen to avoid edges, that is the logical next step.

70 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 70 % bamboo viscose, 25 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane. The bamboo viscose is the soft and breathable part, the cotton provides firmness. See our facts about bamboo.

Washing

Wash the three colours separately the first couple of times, otherwise the white one risks picking up colour. 40 degrees without fabric softener, and let them air dry so the bonding holds. See our washing and care guide. The briefs are OEKO-TEX Standard certified.
