WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Blue waffle dressing gown in bamboo

Dark blue dressing gown from JBS of Denmark in a beautiful waffle-patterned bamboo fabric, super soft for the morning or after a bath. Note: the model shrinks around 4-5% in the first wash.

If you want the dressing gown to fit close, you should choose a size smaller.

The waffle weave makes the bathrobe light and quick-drying instead of heavy and stuffy, as terry cloth can be. It's the type of robe you can put on after bathing without feeling damp, and it doesn't fill half your suitcase. Dark blue, from JBS of Denmark, in sizes S to XXL.

Material

50% bamboo viscose and 50% organic cotton. The cotton absorbs, the bamboo makes it soft and helps it dry faster. More in our facts about bamboo.
