WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

These trousers can be used for more than sleeping in. They're a genuine alternative to sweatpants on a quiet day at home, which is why the cut is straight and understated rather than pyjama-like. White with wide grey stripes, from JBS of Denmark.

45 per cent bamboo viscose and 55 per cent cotton

Here the cotton content is higher than the bamboo content, and that is a deliberate choice. A pair of bottoms has to let you sit down without bagging at the knees, and it is the organic cotton that gives the fabric that firmness.
