WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

The sweatshirt is the hoodie without the hood

Dark grey unisex bamboo sweatshirt from Copenhagen Bamboo with logo print over the chest. Made from bamboo viscose, organic cotton and recycled polyester.

There is one real difference: the hood. It matters if you wear the top under a jacket, because a hood adds bulk at the neck and pushes the jacket collar up. If the top is to be worn at work or under outerwear, the sweatshirt is the right one of the two.

The cut

Round neck with ribbed trim, ribbed cuffs and hem, logo printed over the chest. Unisex cut, and the full size range is in stock.

The fabric

55% bamboo viscose against the skin, 25% polyester so the top keeps its shape, 15% organic cotton for the weight and 5% elastane in the trims. It is the blend that keeps sweat fabric from sagging after a winter. More in facts about bamboo.

The bamboo fibres are FSC MIX certified, see FSC. The top is certified according to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100, cert. no. BJ020 142441, and what that covers is explained under what does OEKO-TEX standard 100 mean.
