These navy blue socks from Egtved are super soft because they are made from bamboo. The socks are comfortable to wear all day long thanks to the bamboo fibers that are moisture-wicking, quick-drying and breathable; and the socks have flat seams across the toes for minimal irritation.

WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

Blue bamboo socks without elastic

The blue version of Egtved's sock without elastic. The idea is the same: the rib keeps the sock up by itself, so there is no tight edge that leaves marks or squeezes the calf. It is the model you choose if your legs swell, or if you are simply tired of imprints from the sock edge. Available in 40/45 and 45/48.

Blue rather than black

Blue works with jeans and dark trousers without being as absolute as black, and it hides less of the shoe at the ankle. It is a personal choice, the quality is the same as on the black model.

The material

71% bamboo viscose and 29% polyamide, without elastane. The bamboo moves moisture away from the foot, which keeps odour down, and the polyamide provides durability in the heel and toe. The background on the material is in our facts about bamboo.

Certification and washing

OEKO-TEX Standard 100, certificate no. 976-15301, and FSC MIX certified bamboo. Wash at 40 degrees without fabric softener, and let them air dry so the rib keeps its shape. See the washing and care guide.
