How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Karita differs from our other nightdresses in the width of the lace. Where most have a narrow trim, this one has wide lace trim at both the V-neck and the sleeves. That makes it the most distinctly elegant of the models. Dusty blue, short-sleeved, from CCDK.

95 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 95 % bamboo viscose and 5 % elastane. That is among the highest bamboo contents in our range, and it is why the nightdress feels smooth and cool against the skin rather than just soft. The lace decides the wash

Both the high bamboo content and the lace call for care. Wash at 30 to 40 degrees on a gentle programme together with your coloureds, never use fabric softener, and let the dress air dry rather than tumble drying it. See our washing and care guide.
