WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

The white T-shirt is the one you wear most and replace most often, because it is the first to turn greyish beige. That is why it makes sense to have several of the same kind and rotate them, instead of wearing one out. From Urban Quest in a men's fit, sizes from S to XXL.

70 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 70% bamboo viscose, 25% organic cotton and 5% elastane. The bamboo viscose is the soft and breathable part, the organic cotton makes sure the white does not turn see-through and that the top holds its shape. We go through the material in our facts about bamboo.

How it stays white longest

Wash it with the rest of your whites at 40 degrees, never together with colours. Bamboo fabric tolerates bleach without chlorine, but not high heat. Skip the fabric softener and hang it up to dry. See our washing and care guide. The top is OEKO-TEX Standard certified.
