How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

The cut

Regular boxer length with short legs and elastic at the waist.

The material

70% bamboo viscose, 25% organic cotton and 5% elastane. Bamboo viscose absorbs moisture and releases it into the air, whereas cotton holds moisture in the fibres. That is the whole reason bamboo is used for underwear. More in facts about bamboo.

Washing

40 degrees or below without fabric softener, and not in the tumble dryer, where the elastane in the waistband gives up first. Black also turns greyish from heat. See the washing and care guide.
