WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Pack of 3 navy blue men's underpants in soft bamboo viscose from Urban Quest. Light, breathable quality that is comfortable to wear all day.

Black underwear can show through light trousers as a dark shadow. Navy blue is a little milder and makes it less noticeable, and it also has the practical advantage that a navy pair does not disappear into a pile of black laundry.

The cut

Regular boxer length with short legs and elastic at the waist. Three identical in the pack.

The material

70% bamboo viscose, 25% organic cotton and 5% elastane. Bamboo viscose absorbs moisture and releases it into the air, and it is this property that makes the material ideal for underwear compared with pure cotton, which holds moisture in the fibres. More in facts about bamboo.

Washing
