How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

70 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 70% bamboo viscose, 25% organic cotton and 5% elastane. The bamboo viscose is the soft and breathable part, the organic cotton makes sure the top holds its shape wash after wash. We go through the material in our facts about bamboo.

Keep it black

Black bamboo viscose turns greyish from high heat and from being washed together with towels that shed lint. Wash at 40 degrees with the rest of your dark clothing, turn the top inside out and skip the fabric softener. See our washing and care guide.
