WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

Sweatpants in the understated version

These light grey sweatpants are from JBS of Denmark and are made from a lovely soft bamboo blend. They have pockets on both sides as well as a small logo on the left hip. They are temperature regulating, breathable and stay soft wash after wash.

The logo sits low on the left hip, where it disappears under a long jumper, while a logo on the thigh would still be visible. That is the understated version of sweatpants.

The cut

Loose legs, elastic waistband. Light grey marl is the easy colour, but it is also the one that shows moisture and stains most clearly of all sweat colours.

The fabric

55% bamboo viscose against the skin, 25% polyester so the knees do not bag out, 15% organic cotton for weight and 5% elastane at the edges. It is the polyester that keeps the trousers holding their shape after a winter. More in facts about bamboo.
