WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

Women's sweatshirt without polyester

Black bamboo sweatshirt from JBS of Denmark in FSC certified bamboo. Soft, breathable and temperature regulating, perfect for loungewear.

This one is 65% bamboo viscose, 30% organic cotton and 5% elastane. There is no polyester in it, and that is the difference from the men's models in the badge series: the fabric is softer and cooler against the skin, but in return it does not tolerate high heat as well.

The cut

Round neck, ribbed cuffs and hem, no hood. It is made for loungewear, meaning days at home rather than for training.

That is why it needs to be washed cool

Without polyester, there is nothing in the fabric to hold the shape under heat. Wash at 40 degrees or below, keep it out of the tumble dryer and do not use fabric softener, as it makes bamboo viscose dull. Black also turns greyish from heat. See the washing and care guide.
