How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Black maxi briefs in soft bamboo from Urban Quest with bonded seams and no bothersome stitching. Breathable quality, comfortable fit for everyday use.

Under a pair of high-waisted trousers, ordinary briefs end right where the waistband sits, leaving two edges stacked on top of each other. A maxi comes up higher than the waistband and avoids that. That is the practical reason to have a maxi if you wear high-waisted trousers.

Glued seams

The seams are bonded rather than sewn, so there is no edge to feel on the hip. A sewn seam always adds a little bulk, no matter how flat it is laid.

The material
