What to know about VAT and prices in the shop

Short answer: Prices in the store include VAT for private customers. The amount shown on the product page is the amount charged, plus any shipping added at checkout.

VAT included

All prices in the store are shown including VAT, so there is no surprise once you reach the basket. That applies to both normal prices and sale prices, so the figure you see first is also the figure you end up paying for the item.

Shipping is added on top

Shipping is added in the basket and depends on the total order value, not on how many different items are in it. See delivery for the current rates and the threshold at which we cover shipping instead of you.

See the total before you confirm

The final amount including shipping is shown clearly before you confirm the order, so nothing unexpected is added afterwards. You can always adjust the basket if the total turns out different from what you expected beforehand.

The receipt after purchase

You get a confirmation by email straight away, and an invoice sits inside the parcel itself with the amount specified line by line. The invoice also includes the order number, which you will need if you later want to return or exchange anything.

On returns and refunds

The refund covers the price you actually paid for the item, including the VAT that was added to it. The shipping terms for a return are always stated in return, exchange or cancel , so you know exactly what is refunded and when.

Payment and currency

Prices are shown and charged in Danish kroner, so the amount on your bank statement should match what you saw in the basket. Any foreign card fees come from your own bank, not from us, if you pay with a card issued abroad.
