WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

Five pairs of low cut socks in mauve, black, navy and striped

5 pack bamboo low cut socks from Copenhagen Bamboo for women with 1 pair mauve, 1 pair black, 1 pair navy blue and 2 pairs striped. Soft, absorbent and breathable.

Mauve is the dusty pink shade, and together with black, navy and one striped pair the pack gives a little variety without becoming loud. All five are low cut, that is with the edge just below the ankle, so they disappear in low shoes but stay put on the heel. Available in 30/33, 34/39 and 40/44.

The material

75 % bamboo viscose, 23 % polyester and 2 % elastane. The bamboo draws moisture away from the foot, which keeps odour down, the polyester gives durability in the heel and toe, and the elastane makes sure the sock stays where it should. More in our facts about bamboo.

Certification and washing

OEKO-TEX Standard 100, certificate no. BJ020 142441. Wash at 40 degrees without fabric softener, otherwise the bamboo loses its ability to breathe. See the washing and care guide.
