WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

Five pairs of white socks in one size

These socks from Resteröds only come in 40/45. That is worth knowing before you order: if your shoe size does not fall within that range, you need to choose another model. On the other hand it is the size most adult men fall into, and five pairs give you a week with only one wash.

80 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 80% bamboo viscose, 15% polyester and 5% elastane. That is a high bamboo content for a sock, and it shows: they feel smooth rather than just soft, and they keep the foot dry through a long day. The bamboo is FSC MIX certified. See our facts about bamboo and our FSC page.

Flat seams over the toes

The seam across the toes is flat instead of standing up as a ridge. That is the detail you notice most of all inside a shoe. The socks are made in Lithuania.
