WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

This grey basic tank top with wide straps is made from the loveliest bamboo material. Bamboo makes this top temperature regulating, absorbent and extremely soft to wear.

Wide straps have a practical advantage the thin ones do not: they cover the bra strap, so you avoid a beige strap showing. Grey is easier to wear than white, because it does not shine through a thin fabric in the same way. From JBS of Denmark.

65 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 65% bamboo viscose, 30% organic cotton and 5% elastane, and the bamboo is FSC MIX certified. The bamboo viscose is absorbent and temperature regulating, which in practice means that the top feels cool when you are warm and does not turn clammy afterwards. Grey needs its own wash

Grey quickly becomes uneven if it is washed alternately with whites and blacks. Keep it together with the rest of your grey and light clothes, wash at 40 degrees and leave out the fabric softener. See our washing and care guide.
