WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Nora nightdress from CCDK in bamboo and cotton with blue, white and grey stripes. Wide mandarin collar, inset front panel with button placket and 3/4 sleeves with a frill trim.

Nora is the nightdress with the same details as the Ninna night tops: wide mandarin collar, inset front panel with button placket and three-quarter sleeves with a frill trim. The difference is the length, so you get the shirt cut without needing trousers to go with it.

Why a nightdress

There is no fabric between the legs that can twist, and that is the single reason why many switch from pyjamas to a nightdress. The buttons at the front also make it easy to put on without pulling it over your head.

The fabric

Wash inside out

Turn the dress inside out before washing at 40 degrees and leave out the fabric softener. Stripes wear on the outside, and the inside takes the wear instead. See the washing and care guide.
