How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Maia bamboo nightdress in dusty blue from CCDK. Narrow straps and a V-neck with a narrow lace trim make it light and feminine. Soft and breathable bamboo material.

Maia is sewn from 95% bamboo viscose and 5% elastane. That is the highest proportion of bamboo in the CCDK series, and it can be felt: the fabric is cool to the touch and moves moisture faster than blends with a lot of cotton. If you sleep hot, this is the model.

The cut

There are no sleeves and no buttons, so there is nothing to lie on. The dress is light enough to wear under a dressing gown in winter and on its own in summer.

The lace needs a little care

The lace trim is the most delicate part of the dress. Wash at 40 degrees without fabric softener and avoid the tumble dryer, which pulls at the trim. See the washing and care guide.
