WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

The seams on the legs sit on the inside and are flat, so they do not chafe against the thigh as you walk. It is the kind of detail you do not notice, and that is the whole point: good underpants are the ones you forget you are wearing. Three pairs from Copenhagen Bamboo, in sizes from S all the way up to XXXL.

The boxer shorts are from Copenhagen Bamboo, which is our own brand. That means we have decided the bamboo content and fit ourselves. The rest of the brand can be found under Copenhagen Bamboo.

70 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 70% bamboo viscose, 25% organic cotton and 5% elastane. The bamboo viscose is noticeably softer than ordinary cotton and it breathes better, which means less moisture and less odour at the end of the day. We go through the material in our facts about bamboo.

Washing
