How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

65 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 65 % bamboo viscose, 30 % cotton and 5 % elastane. The bamboo viscose is the soft and breathable part, the cotton provides the durability so they stand up to frequent washing. It is a common and well proven blend for underwear. We go through the material in our facts about bamboo.

Certified

The underpants are OEKO-TEX Standard certified, which means the fabric has been tested free of harmful chemicals. That is not a trivial thing for clothing that lies directly against the skin all day. Read more under what OEKO-TEX means.
