WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Brown bamboo footie socks from JBS of Denmark. Soft, breathable and discreet, keeping you comfortable all day.

Brown is the colour you choose when the footie should disappear into a brown or nude shoe rather than stand out the way a white one does. The style is discreet and does not come up over the edge of the shoe. From JBS of Denmark, and they come in one size: 37 to 41. If your foot does not fit into that span, you need to choose another model.

60 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 60 % bamboo viscose, 38 % polyamide and 2 % elastane. The bamboo content is lower than in our ordinary socks, and in return there is considerably more polyamide. That is a deliberate choice in a footie: it is exposed to more rubbing against the shoe than an ordinary sock, and the polyamide is what lasts. We explain the material in our facts about bamboo.
