WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

Grey shorts with more cotton than usual

Bamboo shorts in grey from JBS of Denmark, which are lovely and soft, light and comfortable to wear. The bamboo material makes them temperature regulating, absorbent and breathable.

These shorts are 55 % bamboo viscose, 40 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane. The bamboo content is therefore lower than in our tops and briefs, and that is deliberate. You have to be able to sit down in shorts without them going baggy, and there the extra cotton is an advantage. From JBS of Denmark in sizes from S to XL.

What the bamboo does for you

The 55 % bamboo viscose is still what you notice first: the shorts are light, soft and they do not hold on to the heat. That is the difference between a pair you put on in the evening and a pair you can wear all day. We go through the material in our facts about bamboo.
