WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

The flatlock seam along the back is the part you do not lie on

The nightdress has a flatlock seam along the back, that is, a flat seam where the edges are enclosed within the seam itself. It is the type of seam that does not add bulk, and the placement matters most exactly on the back, where you lie on it all night.

The neckline

There is a wide trim at the neck and a soft neckline. Together with the wide sleeves and the loose fit, it is the cut for a warm night, where air needs to be able to get in.

95% bamboo

95% bamboo viscose and 5% elastane. No cotton, which is why the fabric feels cool immediately and moves moisture faster than nightwear with a lot of cotton. More in facts about bamboo.

Wash it cool

Without cotton there is nothing to give strength when it is hot. 40 degrees or below, no tumble dryer and no fabric softener, which makes bamboo viscose dull. See the washing and care guide.
