WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

A Big Shirt is a shirt bigger than your size

Light grey marl bamboo Big Shirt from JBS of Denmark. Short-sleeved and relaxed fit, ideal for relaxing and as a light nightshirt.

Big Shirt means the cut is deliberately oversized. It is sewn to be roomy, which is why you should not size up, as you otherwise would with nightwear. The width is already built in.

For night-time and for relaxing

Short sleeves and relaxed fit. It can be worn as a light nightshirt in summer, when pyjamas with trousers get too warm, and as a loungewear shirt over a pair of shorts.

Marl

Marl means the yarn is spun from fibres in several shades, so the colour looks flecked rather than flat. Light grey marl hides creases better than a solid colour, which is an advantage in something you sleep in.

The material

65% bamboo viscose, 30% organic cotton and 5% elastane. The bamboo content moves moisture away from the skin, which is why it can be worn on a warm night. More in facts about bamboo.
