WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

Five pairs of black socks from Egtved

Egtved makes socks as their main business, and it is the kind of item where the difference lies in the details rather than in the design. Five identical black pairs in the pack, in 40/45 and 45/48. If your shoe size does not fall within one of the two ranges, you will need to choose a different model.

71 per cent bamboo viscose and no elastane

The fabric is 71 % bamboo viscose and 29 % polyamide. There is no elastane in them, which means the leg stays up thanks to the knit rather than by gripping. That makes the socks airy inside the shoe and suitable if you cannot tolerate a tight edge around the leg. The bamboo is FSC MIX certified. See our facts about bamboo and our FSC page.

Choose the size precisely

Without elastane the sock does not forgive the wrong size: if it is too big, it slides down. Choose by your actual shoe size rather than going one up.

Washing
