WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

The fly is the detail that divides opinion. Some never use it, others would not be without it. If you are in the latter group, this is the model: classic black men's briefs from JBS with an open fly, two pairs in the pack. They come in sizes S to XXL.

More cotton, more softness

The composition is 55% bamboo viscose, 40% organic cotton and 5% elastane. That is a higher proportion of cotton than in many of our other models, and it gives a firmer and more classic feel, closer to the underwear you are used to, just softer and with better breathability. Fit and size

The briefs sit close around the thighs and waist without constricting, and the waistband is soft so it does not leave marks. If you are in doubt between two sizes, choose the smaller one, as the model gives a little after a few wears.

Tested and certified

OEKO-TEX Standard 100 under certificate no. 976-15301, and the bamboo is FSC MIX certified. Underwear sits against the skin all day, and that is why it is worth knowing that the fabric has been tested free of harmful chemicals.
