How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Nanny is CCDK's light blue nightshirt. The difference between a nightshirt and pyjamas is that there is nothing around the legs, so you are not left twisting fabric around your knees. At the same time, the length is enough to go to the kitchen for a glass of water.

The fabric

68% bamboo viscose, 27% organic cotton and 5% elastane. The bamboo part absorbs the moisture if you sleep warm, the cotton gives the shirt body, and the elastane is why it moves with you when you turn over. Read more in facts about bamboo.

Nanny is one of the few in the series where the whole size range is in stock at the same time. If it is to be used for sleeping in, you can safely size up, as loose width is an advantage at night.
