WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

The long-sleeved striped one that can be worn during the day

Britt black and white striped long-sleeved bamboo T-shirt from CCDK. A lovely blend of bamboo and organic cotton makes it soft, breathable and temperature-regulating.

Britt belongs to CCDK's nightwear range, but the cut is a regular long-sleeved T-shirt with a round neck. The black and white stripe is the most neutral in the range, which is why it's worn just as often under a cardigan during the day as it is for sleeping in.

The fabric

68% bamboo viscose, 27% organic cotton and 5% elastane. The bamboo component moves moisture away from the skin, which is why it doesn't feel clammy if you wear a jumper over it. The cotton keeps the stripes crisp, the elastane keeps the neckline in shape.

Striped should be washed inside out

Turn the top inside out before washing at 40 degrees. Stripes wear on the outside, and the inside takes the wear instead. Fabric softener coats the bamboo fibres and takes away some of the softness, so leave it out. See the washing and care guide.
