How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Black bamboo jersey dress from JBS of Denmark in a soft quality. Perfect as a nightdress or a casual t-shirt dress for everyday wear.

It is a jersey dress in thin bamboo fabric, and black makes it more usable outside the bedroom than a light colour. It can be slept in at night and worn as an ordinary t-shirt dress during the day with trainers or a cardigan, without anyone seeing what it was bought as.

The cut

Simple and without decoration, so there are no buttons or lace to lie on. Jersey is a knitted fabric, which is why the dress follows the body instead of hanging stiffly.

The material

Black is washed cool

Black bamboo viscose turns greyish from hot washing and the tumble dryer. Keep to 40 degrees or below and hang it up to dry. See the washing and care guide.
