WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Navy blue hoodie from JBS of Denmark with a logo across the chest, made in a lovely soft bamboo blend. It is temperature regulating, breathable and stays soft wash after wash.

This hoodie has the logo printed across the chest rather than as a discreet badge on the side. That is the difference that decides whether the sweatshirt reads as an ordinary hoodie or as a logo sweatshirt, and it is worth knowing before adding it to the basket.

The cut

Hood without a zip, ribbed cuffs and hem. Navy blue is the colour in sweat clothing that can be worn outside the home, where grey marl is quickly read as gym wear.

The fabric

55% bamboo viscose against the skin, 25% polyester so the sweatshirt keeps its shape, 15% organic cotton for weight and 5% elastane at the edges. The bamboo is FSC certified, see FSC. More about the fibres in facts about bamboo.

Wash inside out

Turn the jumper inside out before washing at 40 degrees, so the drum wears the back of the fabric rather than the print. No fabric softener. See the washing and care guide.
