WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

The white t-shirt is the one you use the most and replace most often, because it is the first to turn grey beige. This one is from our own brand, Copenhagen Bamboo, which means we have decided the quality and fit ourselves. Sizes from S to XXL.

70 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 70% bamboo viscose, 25% organic cotton and 5% elastane. The bamboo viscose is the reason the T-shirt drapes softly rather than standing stiffly out, and the reason it is comfortable in both summer and winter: the material is temperature regulating, meaning it moves heat and moisture away instead of holding on to it. How it stays white longest

Wash it with the rest of your whites at 40 degrees, never together with colours. Bamboo fabric tolerates bleach without chlorine, but not high heat. Skip the fabric softener and hang it up to dry. See our washing and care guide. OEKO-TEX Standard 100, certificate no. BJ020 142441.
