WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

White bamboo T-shirt from JBS of Denmark with a simple logo design, soft, breathable and comfortable. Made from 65% bamboo viscose, 30% organic cotton and 5% elastane with OEKO-TEX certification.

It is an ordinary white T-shirt with a small logo design, and that is the whole idea. It can be worn on its own with jeans or shorts, where a plain vest would look too bare. From JBS of Denmark in sizes from S to XXXL.

Wash the logo inside out

Prints and logos crack when they rub against other clothes in the machine, and it happens faster at high heat. Turn the T-shirt inside out before washing, run it at 40 degrees and let it air dry rather than going in the tumble dryer. The rest is in our washing and care guide.

65 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 65% bamboo viscose, 30% organic cotton and 5% elastane. The bamboo viscose gives the softness and the breathability, the organic cotton keeps the T-shirt in shape. We go through the material honestly in our facts about bamboo.

Three certifications

The bamboo is FSC MIX certified, the cotton is organic, and the T-shirt is tested to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, certificate no. 976-15301. What each label covers is explained under FSC and OEKO-TEX Standard 100.
