WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

The black Big Shirt can do more than just be slept in

Black bamboo Big Shirt from JBS of Denmark with short sleeves. Classic colour in soft bamboo, perfect for cosy hours or as a light nightshirt.

Big Shirt means the cut is deliberately oversized, so you should not size up. The fact that it is black is what makes it usable outside the bedroom: it can be worn as a loose shirt over a pair of leggings, where a light or striped nightshirt is clearly nightwear.

The cut

Short sleeves and a roomy fit. The width is already built in, so choose your normal size.

The material

65% bamboo viscose, 30% organic cotton and 5% elastane. The bamboo content moves moisture away from the skin, which is why it can be worn on a warm night, when pyjamas with trousers become too much. More in facts about bamboo.

Black is washed cool

Black bamboo viscose turns greyish from hot washing and the tumble dryer. Keep to 40 degrees or below, hang it up to dry and do not use fabric softener. See the washing and care guide.

Er dejlig blød

Er dejlig blød. Men stretch er for varmt til nattøj.
Men det er virkelig synd at man putter, stretch i en natkjole, som man går ud fra er kølig.
Stretch er ikke godt til alle os der er i overgangsalderen.
