WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

Two light blue striped boxer shorts with a fly

These boxer shorts have a real fly with two light blue buttons, a small slit at the side on both legs and a four centimetre wide sewn on waistband with a printed logo. This is the classic boxer short, that is not a tight fitting trunk, and it is a different fit from most bamboo underwear.

What you need to know about the size

This model shrinks by around 10% in length on the first wash. That is a lot, and you should take it into account when choosing a size. If you are unsure between two, choose the larger.

70 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 70 % bamboo viscose and 30 % organic cotton, that is without elastane. That gives a fabric that falls loosely instead of lying close, which is the whole idea of a boxer short. The bamboo is FSC MIX certified. See our facts about bamboo and our FSC page.
