WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

Black waffle dressing gown in bamboo

Black dressing gown from JBS of Denmark in a lovely waffle-patterned bamboo textile, super soft for the morning or after a bath. Note: the model shrinks roughly 4-5% in the first wash.

If you want the dressing gown to fit close, you should choose a size smaller.

The waffle weave makes the bathrobe light and quick-drying instead of heavy like terry cloth. It takes up little space in a suitcase and doesn't feel damp after bathing. Black, from JBS of Denmark, in sizes S to XXL.

Material

50% bamboo viscose and 50% organic cotton. The cotton absorbs, the bamboo makes it soft and helps it dry faster. More in our facts about bamboo.

Certification

OEKO-TEX Standard 100, cert. no. 976-15301, FSC MIX certified. Wash at 40 degrees without fabric softener, which otherwise reduces absorbency. See the washing and care guide.
