WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

The pyjama shirt with buttons instead of a T-shirt

Lovely and exclusive navy and white striped pyjama shirt from JBS of Denmark. The shirt is made from a mix of soft bamboo viscose and organic cotton.

A pyjama shirt with buttons can be opened, and that is the whole difference from a T-shirt at night: if you get warm, you open the top buttons instead of having to take off the whole top. The stripe is navy and white, i.e. the classic pyjama pattern.

Long-sleeved

The sleeves are long, so the shirt covers the arms under a duvet that does not lie completely flat. It is the version used in the cold half of the year.

The material

65% bamboo viscose, 30% organic cotton and 5% elastane. The bamboo content moves moisture away from the skin if you sleep warm, and the cotton keeps the stripes sharp and the shape around the button placket, where most of the strain is. More in facts about bamboo.

Wash stripes inside out

Stripes wear on the outside, so turn the shirt inside out before washing at 40 degrees. Button it up so the placket does not twist in the machine, and skip the fabric softener. See the washing and care guide.
