WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

The black one hides the most but needs a cool wash

Black long-sleeved sweatshirt in a soft bamboo blend from Urban Quest. With a small logo on the chest, temperature-regulating and breathable quality, soft wash after wash.

Black is the colour in sweat clothing that hides the most, and with 70% bamboo viscose and no polyester it is also softer than regular sweatshirt fabric. The trade-off is that black bamboo viscose turns greyish from hot washing, and that there's no polyester to hold the shape.

The cut

Round neck, long sleeves, small logo on the chest, no hood. Lint shows up more clearly on black, so a lint roller is worth having.

The material
