WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

The socks are comfortable to wear even on long and warm days, thanks to the bamboo fibres, which are sweat wicking and breathable, and the socks also have flat seams across the toes, for minimal irritation.

These ankle socks from Resteröds come only in sizes 40 to 45. Check that before you order, because there are no other sizes to choose from. If your foot fits within the range, you get five identical pairs, that is a week without washing.

80 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 80% bamboo viscose, 15% polyester and 5% elastane. That is a high bamboo content for a sock, and the difference is noticeable: they feel smooth rather than merely soft, and they keep the foot dry through a long day. The bamboo is FSC MIX certified. Flat seams and European production

The seam across the toes is flat instead of standing up as a ridge, which is the detail you notice most inside a shoe. The socks are made in Lithuania.
