How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Why acrylic is included

These sweatpants are 37% bamboo viscose, 27.5% organic cotton, 27.5% acrylic and 8% elastane. The bamboo content is lower than in our underwear, because the acrylic is what retains the warmth in trousers meant to be worn outside, not just in bed. More about the fibres in facts about bamboo.

Navy as an alternative

Navy is still a neutral colour, but it breaks up a shelf full of nothing but black and grey sweatpants. It goes with the same things as black, without being yet another pair in the shade you already have the most of.

Wash acrylic blends cool
