WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

The nightshirt with a mandarin collar and button placket

Ninna nightshirt from CCDK in a lovely bamboo and cotton blend. Wide mandarin collar, inset front panel with button placket and 3/4 sleeves with a frilled edge.

Ninna is CCDK's nightshirt in blue and white stripes. The mandarin collar is the low, standing collar without a flip, and together with the inset front panel and the buttons it gives the top a cut that looks more like a shirt than a T-shirt.

The sleeves

The sleeves are three-quarter length and end in a frilled edge. That length is practical at night because the sleeve doesn't ride up to the elbow when you lie on your side, and the top can also be worn as a loungewear top without looking like nightwear.

The fabric

70% bamboo viscose and 30% organic cotton. The bamboo part draws moisture away if you sleep warm, and the cotton keeps the stripes crisp and the top in shape. More in facts about bamboo. Certified to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100, cert. no. BEGO 065229.

Wash stripes inside out

Turn the top inside out and wash at 40 degrees, and skip the fabric softener. Stripes wear most on the outside, and the inside takes that wear instead. See the washing and care guide.
