How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Three white maxi briefs with a narrow waistband

White bamboo maxi briefs with a high waist and good coverage of the bottom. Woven waistband without side seams, thin elastic at the leg opening and super soft, moisture wicking and breathable bamboo.

Belle is the model with the narrow elastic in the leg opening rather than a wide, sewn edge. Fewer and thinner edges mean less that can show through clothing.

Why white

White shows through less than black under light trousers and summer dresses. Three pairs in the pack, sizes from S to XXL.

80 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 80 % bamboo viscose, 13 % polyamide and 7 % elastane. The high bamboo content is what you notice first: the briefs feel smooth and moisture wicking rather than just soft. We go through the material in our facts about bamboo.

Wash gently and whites on their own

A high bamboo content tolerates neither heat nor fabric softener. Wash at 40 degrees with the rest of your whites and let them air dry. See our washing and care guide. OEKO-TEX Standard 100, certificate no. SHKO 039388.
