WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

Three burgundy maxi briefs

Burgundy is one of the colours that suits most people, and that is at the same time dark enough not to show through trousers. Maxi means a high waist and full coverage at the back. Three pairs from Bamboo Basics in sizes from S to XXL.

Wash burgundy separately the first time

Red and burgundy colours give off colour in the first couple of washes. Run the briefs on their own or together with other red items the first few times, otherwise the rest of the laundry ends up pink. After that they can be washed with the rest of the dark laundry at 40 degrees and without fabric softener. See our washing and care guide.

No side seams

There are no seams at the hip, where briefs otherwise show through most clearly under a tight skirt. Fewer seams mean fewer edges that can show through clothing.
