WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

White long sleeved and what makes the grey one different

White long sleeved T-shirt in soft bamboo from Urban Quest. With round neck and ribbed trim, breathable quality that suits both everyday use and training.

White tops turn grey because they're washed together with the rest of the laundry. Wash it separately at 40 degrees, and don't use chlorine bleach, which bamboo viscose can't tolerate. High heat also gives white a yellowish tinge, so keep the temperature down rather than up.

The cut

Round neck with ribbed trim, long sleeves. Note that white is the colour that most easily lets dark underwear show through.

The material

70% bamboo viscose, 25% organic cotton and 5% elastane. The high bamboo content is why the top can be used both for training and as a layer under a shirt: the fibres absorb moisture and release it into the air. More in facts about bamboo.
