How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

These blue boxer shorts from Bamboo Basics are made from a soft bamboo and cotton jersey. They have a 4 cm wide sewn-on elastic waistband with a printed logo.

The waistband makes the difference

The waistband is four centimetres wide with a printed logo. This is not just decoration: a wide waistband spreads the pressure over a larger area and therefore does not roll up into a cord during the day, the way a narrow elastic can.

Blue as an alternative to black

Navy is the colour you choose when the drawer is already full of black boxer shorts and you want something that still goes with everything but is not yet another black pair.

Bamboo and cotton jersey
